Support

Help with DeckSpec — the card catalogue, pricing and collection tracker for Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more.

The quickest way to reach us is email: [email protected]. We read every message and aim to reply within a few business days. A few common questions are answered below first.

Where is my collection stored?

DeckSpec is local-first — there are no accounts. Your collection and watchlist live only in your own browser (localStorage), never on our servers. Clearing your browser data (or switching device or browser) removes them, so export a CSV first if you want a backup or want to move to another device.

Importing & exporting

The collection page imports and exports CSV, accepting the column names Moxfield, Archidekt, Deckbox, ManaBox and TCGplayer use. Rows that can’t be matched are reported rather than dropped silently, so you can correct them and re-import.

A price looks wrong

Prices are indicative, refreshed from daily market snapshots, and shown as Near Mint (played conditions apply a standard haircut) — they are not offers to buy or sell. If a card is priced in a way that looks clearly wrong, email us the card name, set and finish and we’ll take a look.

A card or set is missing

Catalogue and price data come from third parties (Scryfall for Magic, pokemontcg.io for Pokémon, YGOPRODeck for Yu-Gi-Oh!) and sync daily, so a brand-new release can take a little while to appear. If something is still missing after a few days, let us know.

Bugs & feature requests

Found a bug, or want DeckSpec to do something it doesn’t? Email [email protected]. Telling us your browser and what you were doing when something broke helps us reproduce it faster.
